the Main Man:
Erik Zeto
Life in the 28th Century is dangerous. There’s a lot of nasty stuff out here, throwing all manner of craziness my way. I guess that’s what comes of being a cybernetic ex-soldier turned freebooter, exploring the dark corners of human space.
I’ve lived a life, got stuck in, and threw my fists when I had to. Got some scars – physical and the other kind. Met some characters, too; artificial hive minds, augmented chimps and… well, things that defy easy description. You’ll see.
Stick around, and take it from me: sometimes the wildest adventures start with the click of a button.

I’m a 21st-Century-based British science-fiction and fantasy writer with an appreciation for the weird stuff. My stories sidle up to reality in dark alleys, cosh it over the head, and throw it in the back of an inter-dimensional transit van.
This site is home to the adventures of Erik Zeto (plus his friends, lovers and adversaries… with occasional sidesteps into entirely different realities). If you want to get to know Erik better – and why wouldn’t you? – take a look around the site and he’ll tell you in his own words.
Expect cyberpunky space opera with a whiff of cosmic horror.

This is the future

By the twenty-eighth century, humanity has colonised two thirds of the Milky Way. But it’s a vast galaxy, and in reality human beings are spread thinly – most planetary systems are unexplored territory, barely known beyond preliminary surveys. Who knows what’s really out there?

Dawn of the Zetoverse

Before Erik Zeto could roam the galaxy, someone had to write him. Badly, at first. Here’s the story behind the story: 100,000 words, a painful self-editing awakening, and why raking a football pitch with a hairbrush is apparently just part of the process.
